Venues

It is intended to use a number of venues for the 2008 festival.

The following are those used in 2007, to give you an idea of the probable venues for 2008.


Halley ny Masoonee, Rhumsaa - Masonic Hall, Ramsey

The Masonic Hall is in Lezayre Road, Ramsey, near its junction with Parliament Square. Apart from its ideal facilities as a venue for a ceili, it offers a fine view of North Barrule from the window at the back of the stage!


Ynnyd Keead-Blein Purt ny hInshey - Peel Centenary Centre

Peel Centenary Centre offers a wonderful venue for Yn Chruinnaght events. The small theatre provides an opportunity for excellent quality performances in an intimate environment. Situated next to the side gates to Peel Cathedral, in the West of the Island, this offers a wonderful resource to the Island as a whole.

Keeill Phaayl - St. Paul's Church

In Market Square, Ramsey, St Paul's Church offers a venue with amazing acoustics for the Yn Chruinnaght Competitions and concerts.It is distinctive with its square clock tower and is visible from the Marquee and handy for the centre of town.
