NoGood Boyo is a Welsh five-piece band named for a character in Dylan Thomas’s Under Milk Wood. The band includes Bethan Rhiannon (Williams) and Sam Humphreys, who have visited the festival as accordion and guitar player respectively with leading Welsh band Calan. NoGood Boyo enjoy a range of musical backgrounds, with Aneirin Jones on fiddle, Jordan Williams on double bass and Jordan Dibble on drums. Bethan also includes her award-winning Welsh clog dancing in NoGood Boyo’s performances.
With their uncompromising tagline, ‘Go loud or go home, boyo!’, NoGood Boyo are helping to take Welsh traditional music onwards and upwards.
